There are numerous social activities available to residents at the Riverglades Resort. These include:
Social Club. This Club is the hub of social activity. It organises such events as the Sunset Happy Hours every Friday at the main centrally located Club house, the Christmas Party, the New Year’s Eve Gathering, and excursions including Christmas in July and to the Casino. Then there are the Swap Meets, River Cruises, Carols by Candlelight, Melbourne Cup Lunch, regular raffles and a host of other enjoyable activities. In addition, the following clubs and events also occur on a regular basis:
Glades Pool Group. This occurs at the Clubhouse on Tuesdays at 3pm and during the Friday Sunset Happy Hours starting at 4.30pm.
Glades Craft Club. This meets at 1pm to 3pm every Tuesday at the Clubhouse.
The Kraft Shoppe. This is open at the Clubhouse on Tuesdays at 1pm to 3pm.
Glades Card Club. This meets at the Clubhouse every Wednesday from 1pm to 3.30pm.
Swimming Pool. A well maintained pool is well patronised by a number of the residents and their families.
